Bluebell Railway's fabulous ice rink at Sheffield Park Station is back between 15 and 23 February, and once again we've got TWO family passes for two adults and up to three children (15 and under) to enjoy!
Fire and Ice! Come Ice Skating on real ice in the unique and amazing location of the Locomotive Shed. Glide across the ice and see where the locomotives are prepared in the morning before they steam up and down the preserved railway line through 11 miles of beautiful countryside.
Enjoy the interactive exhibits in SteamWorks! also in the locomotive shed. Visit Sheffield Park to skate only or add an All-Day Rover Ticket to your booking and travel behind one of our vintage steam locomotives.
It’s Kids for a Quid for February Half Term, so make the most of this huge discount. The All Day Rover Tickets let you hop on and off service trains all day with this flexible ticket to travel, and make the most of all the unique stations have to offer at a leisurely pace. With this ticket you can start your journey at any of four stations, but don’t forget to refer to the timetable for the day of travel, so you can plan where and when you will catch your trains.

Sonic The Hedgehog will be popping by on the Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th from 11am – 3pm, photo opportunities will also be available.
‘Tot Mornings‘ on Tuesday and Thursday.
‘Kids Party Time‘ with Sison’s Parties from 1pm – 3pm on Wednesday 19th and Thursday 20th.
Evening sessions with licensed bar and DJ Andrew Marston from 6pm on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd.

The ticket is for a specific date and time. The winner(s) can choose a date until 23 February 2025 for a timed session for ice skating and the Bluebell Railway team will issue the ticket.
The prize is for this specific event and cannot be exchanged for other events.
Other information:
Ice skating tickets are £12.00 for adults and £10.00 for children. Slots can be booked
online or on the day from Sheffield Park station.
The price for skating includes skate hire and entry to SteamWorks!, an interactive exhibition which allows visitors to step aboard the footplate of a real-life steam engine for a true driver’s eye view. Skate aids are also available to hire before the session.
As well as ice skating, the Railway is also running its popular ‘Kids for a Quid’ offer throughout the February half term, with any child (3-15) travelling for £1 when accompanied by a full fare-paying adult.
Group booking discounts for skating are available and wheelchair users are
